Budget-Lite 4-Wheeled Mobility Scooter
Falcon's Budget-Lite Mobility Scooter is for the budget-conscious customer, looking to stretch their dollar.
It has most of the features offered on the US-branded Drive Medical Spitfire Scout 4-Wheel Mobility Scooter, but is a lower cost alternative.
The no-frills Budget-Lite is heavier than the Spitfire Scout, and doesn't come with interchangeable colour panels.
However, the most important features have been retained, such as:
- Choice of 12AH or 20AH batteries, with range up to 20 km.
- Solid tyres
- Swivel seat that can slide forwards and back for optimum comfort
- Adjustable seat height and armrest width
- LED headlight
Highly Recommended for:
Mobility scooters are most popular among the elderly who are able to walk, but not over long distances. The scooter extends their travelling range, allowing them to maintain their social life and perform routine tasks such as grocery shopping.
The Budget-Lite is best suited for nearby neighbourhood use, especially in suburban areas. Its compactness allows it to be used in tight spaces like restaurants and supermarkets. It is also portable enough to fit into most car/taxi boots if you want to bring it to places further away.
Transport Suitability Rating: Taxi/Car—Excellent
